Mother Seraphina grew up Catholic but as a young adult she drifted from the faith to pursue a music career in New York City. She began singing in Catholic choirs to keep up her voice which would lead to her reversion back to the faith. She is now the Mother Superior for the Franciscan Daughters of Mary in Covington, Kentucky.
