Join us for a Sacred Music Concert
featuring Dvorak’s Stabat Mater

The concert features Musica Sacra of Cincinnati Chorus and Orchestra.
First performed in Prague in 1880, Dvořák’s Stabat Mater is based on the 13th century hymn to Mary as she mourns her son Jesus during his crucifixion. The piece earned Dvořák international recognition following its performance in London in 1884, and continues to be his best known, and most often performed, sacred work.
